We had a specific idea for the first OPERA UNICA in our minds…a motorbike devoted to the SUZUKI single season, hundredth of the firm, sixtieth of the Racing, Joan Mir World Champion

Art

Art.

How did the idea come up? Thanks to the free flow of the creator’s creativity, away from every kind of rule or conditions usually set by the “production area”.

What we love is drawing motorcycles and what we wanted to do was to create a one of a kind motorbike completely ruled by design, art and craft.

So, why shouldn’t we revalue the unique material of alluminium?

Research

Research.

Now it comes into play the collaboration with OFFICINA FARALLI which perfectly represents the old and demanding tinsmith‘s craft that is able to give shape and life to the metal thanks to a simple hammer.

Philosophy

Philosophy.

create “story-telling-motorcycles”: each motorcycle will be unique and could not be duplicated, each one will have no conditions and will be created by listening the puff of wind ruled by a spontaneous inspiration of a single moment. There is no commission, there is only our necessity to freely express our motorsport passion, a simple way of art.

Our initial opera unica could only be the “ONE”.

Suzuki

k4 1000

So we had the idea, what we needed was the right technical basis to begin with. Our accurate and scrupulous research led us to a pure suzuki k4 1000, a great choice.

Let's go

The pencil sets in motion. The first sketches, some of them analyse different views. Finally, a full-scale drawing. And, after spending 8 months in craft, genius and creativity, every single hammer blow perfectly shapes the alluminium. It has been an exciting and rewarding experience that we desire to have again periodically.

Ready?

Let's go!

A cage made of circle-shaped-iron elements was our point of departure; at first they were bended on a full-scale drawing and then set up on the motorbike. It was a useful method to figure out the volumes, the bulk and the lines of the motorcycle to start shaping the alluminium. The rough motorcycle was coming into sight, and, thanks to grinding and brushing, we could glimpse such an irresistible beauty that we could not resist touching its surface with bare hands feeling the entire knowledge and work accomplished with love.

Thanks

to these specific finishing choices allow the motorcycle, when shown under the sunlight, to enhance all the work done on the wonderful alluminium fairing that changes in colour. Finally, the motorbike has been updated with marchesini rims, senesi complete exhaust, accossato caliper and rearsets etc for a total weight ongoing with liquids of 192 kg. Considering our great passion for the crash helmets, OPERA UNICA projects will always be supplied with a special helmet. For the ONE we have taken into consideration a fabulous ARAI RX7V suzuki 100th Anniversary by sakartdesign, which, in the first instance, has been a helmet created in 2020 as a gift for Ecstar Suzuki Team and then SUZUKI reproduced only 100 models of it.
